The time is always now, and yet, people still wait around and bide their time. For what? I'm not exactly sure, forwhy? I've no idea either because I don't like to bide my time, I choose not to, because sometimes it's best to follow what you feel... Well actually it's always best to follow what you feel as opposed to what you think- And I mean what you feel deep within you, like strong emotions... A pulling, not a one off spontaneous decision that you think might be a bad idea, buy hey, 'YOLO', or whatever people are saying now to justify stupid actions.
But people like to rationalise what they feel because it helps them feel in control of themself, but it doesn't and they end up cheating themselves because you have to give up control sometimes. If you don't, all you're doing is opressing yourself and stopping yourself from listening to your gut and working for your higher good. It ends up leaving you with an inner restlessness you feel can't be sated, when really all you needed to do was follow that pull, no matter how hard or insane it seems for you to grab what's on the end of it- all the best things are. Unless of course, you're happy being hurt by your own hand, in which case you can by all means continue if that's the kind of life you want to live, but who on earth wants to be unhappy, or unsatisfied? Maybe happiness scares you, but do remember that you're worth happiness and you deserve it to the highest degree.
Thinking leads to all sorts of problems that were never there to begin with which EVERYONE is familiar with this notion, yet people still do it-destructive habbits are always more difficult to break (not because the thing itself is hard to break, but because people become used to it and it's like a default so they forget what it's like to take risks to be happy and they get scared... Reverting back to their other default state is like a comfort for them but it's so detrimental). Lives fall apart when people follow their heads before their hearts because emotional needs are so much stronger, so much greater and so much more beneficial and essential to you and your spiritual growth. Following your mind and practicality and leading your life on fear will only lead to regret, lonliness and a deep sense of dissatisfaction. You'll feel something or someone or somewhere is missing and that's probably because it is, but you ignored you pull to get it or go there.
It'll forever be the that (or those) which got away. It could of fufilled your soul and what you wanted most but you were too scared to take a risk by going out and grabbing it when you could in whatever way possible. It's crazy, people pray and hope for things to happen for so long, and then when their prayers or intentions are answered and it finally comes along and they run away or turn their back to it completley, they become too scared to grab it and so they ignore and watch it slip right through their hands. You always get what you ask for, but not always in the way you thought it would be presented to you and that's why you have to get rid of this idea of HOW things will happen and just focus and trust in the fact that they will happen and you'll be ready to get it when it does and also brave enough to. You might'nt feel like you're ready but everything happens in perfect timing and things come along at a certain time for a certain reason and it's up for you to discover that and believe in divine will, or your greater good.
You don't want to be in the situation wherein you're with the safe options you've gone ahead and picked all your life and you're got that huge feeling of emptiness or worse and strong feeling of remorse in your stomach that rises up into your chest, constricting your heart and making you feel ill as it robs you of your sleep and sanity, because if you don't realise it now, you'll remember then that which you turned away. You'll remeber all those pullings and white hot emotions you ignored and you'd think I'd trade it all just to have that because it would have made me so happy, but I've course it is most probably too late because nothing lasts for ever and things present themselves for a reason- so you can go and grab them while they can before they dissappear.
Or worse, you become numb. Not so much numb cause you feel something but that something is nothing- That aforementioned emptiness... Everything is meh, you become the person that has everything to live a fairly normal and happy life- however you may envision that to be, but has gained nothing proper inside spiritually and emotionally, so your life doesn't excite you or make you happy. It's just standard, routine, automatic with nothing that makes you feel REAL good inside. Those things which bring you 'happiness' are fleeting because eventually your mind reverts back to what you're missing or this emptiness inside because these spiritual callings are what makes us happy and human. We all want to feel human yet few of us manage it... we subsist. What a sad, sad and easily avoidable existance. And you see so many, just look upon the faces of the people of this world... You can see when someone is fufilled and someone isn't. Real happiness can be felt not just by you, but those around you, and so can sadness and unfulfilment. Or they just simply won't have that spark about them that others may have, it's cause they don't have what brings them true happiness and that's because they ignored it when life brought it to them and their heart told them to grab it.
Don't let that be you, and if that is you... Change it. NOW, before it's too late. If this resonates with you, with a particuar situation or just in general (like it brings something to mind) please don't ignore it... Work on it and do what you feel, regardless of what you think.
Don't you want to be happy? Because I want you to be happy, but you won't be if you don't surrender to your heart and what your gut instics are telling you. Live in the heart, the mind has been tainted by things around us.
Love always,
Dalanda xxx
