I’m okay alone, and I even prefer it sometimes but it would be a lie to deny that it’s human nature to have a desire for connection. 

People need people to build with. To  share and be shared with.

There’s a empty place within me that can only be filled with the energy of another.

It’s not a issue of not being whole on my own and it can be confused as such. But it’s simply the need to exercise the parts of you that can only be awaken by being apart of something other than just yourself.
