I want to go to an African party!!

It's been ages since I've danced to some good afrobeats!! But I have to wait until exams are over and someone throws a huge party! Not long left now, keep praying!! xD

Anyways I thought I'd share this African song with you because, well, you're not African if you don't know it and it's not a good party unless they play this!!

Um, it's not in English but it's basically about a guy, and his girlfriend (Antou) broke up with him and now that she's seen him on TV etc, she wants to get back with him and the chorus means "It's not the first fool that is the fool, it's the second fool that is the real fool" which means he's not a fool cause she broke up with him but he'll be a real fool if he goes back with her. The rest of the verses are pretty much time fillers, like there's one where she orders braised chicken in the resturant and he says it's not filling enough etc, but that's the main gist of it.

It's in French cause it's from the Ivory Coast but it's like a slang patois version of French generally spoken there colloquiallly, so French speakers probably won't understand most of this. xD

I don't actually understand it myself as I'm not from the Ivory Coast and I don't speak French but I saw a translation some time ago, and my mind has a bad habit of remembering irrelevant stuff (like seriously, I can remeber conversations I've had with people word for word years later xD) but the relevant stuff generally goes, or I do remember it, but ages later. But that's besides the point ENJOY, and if you're not African and you're listening to this, ALSO ENJOY and you're now an honourary African! xD
