You can't change people. It's a sad fact that you can shower people with love, kindness, honesty & get the polar opposite back from them. Or just get ignored with zero acknowledgement.
No matter how much you love someone, no matter how much you want them to change to be a better person for themselves, you can't. It's not fair but I guess that's life. Maybe good things are fated but, free will can mess things up, people can lose their way & so it doesn't always work out in the best way possible but at least you learn something.
Try & not invest yourself too much in people and situations that drain you & make you hurt. Accept that if someone truly did love you & care about you wholeheartedly, they would never leave you, they'd never hurt you by ignoring you when you try & they'd fucking appreciate you because you're special & you deserve it. If they don't make you feel good, try not to waste your time because it'll end in tears. Leave them be. It'll break your heart to watch them running around, living a lie, being someone they're not but there's nothing you can do. It's not in your hands anymore. You did what you could when you could and it was thrown in your face and they're doing nothing to make it alright. And if they come back saying they'll change but show no proof of it, just leave them. Don't fall victim to people that feed off of your energy and attention & give you fuckall in return. Be with people that live from their hearts & that have no master but love, good will & joy.
It's about respect. For yourself and them for you. Don't let people treat you like shit and don't stand for people that do. Don't ever sell yourself short & settle.
And everyone, all of you should appreciate the people in your life & the people that try for you. Don't shun people for no good reason. Be kind. Do everything in love. The world is painful and hard enough, you don't know what people are going through, don't add to it. Have some EMPATHY, think about what you're doing to someone when you treat them a certain way. Don't just blot it out & pretend they & the situation doesn't exist. Have some humanity. No one is born evil, cruel or mean it's a choice... Why not choose to be kind? Life would be so much better for you and everyone else.
Open your locked up hearts- you're the ones that took the keys and locked it yourselves. Enjoy the freedom & happiness that comes from opening up & not being led by our fears.
Remeber what goes around comes back around.
