A new year's coming...

This year, I feel like my own 2016 thoughts and posts came to me, as opposed to me having to sit down and think as usual.

It's weird, I had a flashback to my old history teacher who was kind, fashionable and a really good teacher. History was one of my favourite lessons, and I still remember some of the things she taught us. I don't think of her often, but it was weird she popped into my head a couple of days ago.

I thought nothing of it, but today my brother handed me a notebook he found that I bought in 2009 and hadn't seen since 2011. I flicked through it and found this:

That's from my old history teacher, and she would have written that in 2011 when I was leaving secondary school.

I feel like I really needed to see this because particularly this year I feel like I've reverted back to the shy quiet girl- even if it's mainly internal. I didn't mean to, it just happened with how things went this year and I'm not sure I even realised fully till I saw this. When I'm not feeling good, or I'm feeling vulnerable and scared as we all do, I retreat back into myself because I don't really know how to deal with it and that's something I need to work on this year.

I want to feel better and happier this year, it's not going to be easy but it's something I actively have to seek to try and change. I have to not take bad things that happen personally and find strength from somewhere to overcome the pain it's caused me. I don't know how I'm going to do this, but I do know I can't control the shit that may be flung at me so I have to just try and deal with it better.

I also mainly need to be careful of the company I keep- I've made some fantastic friends is year and lost some too. I can control this better than I can control my natural response to things so it's another important theme for me. I also want to appreciate the people in my life and make them know how special they are to me- I already do this but there's no harm in doing it even more and extending the love I have.

Honestly, I don't know if I'll even survive all of next year but I'll just hope for the best and take each day as it comes. If I die, I don't want it to be with any pain in my heart so I'm going to try and not feel like shit when I can help it.

All these things are easier said than done, and I just hope I have the strength to complete it and maybe get better, and feel better.

I pray that this new year you find ways to be a better you, and leave the unhelpful aspects of your life and yourselves behind in last year. It's never too late to be who and what you want to be- time is precious and a good time to start is always now. Believe in yourselves like I believe in you, keep smiling, spreading love, positive messages and doing the right things. If you live life like this, you'll attract good things and the right people- or repel the wrong people from you.

Congratulations on surviving another crazy year, many didn't get that privilege so I hope you're all grateful for your lives. Where there is life there is hope. Even if life feels like life is more of a curse than a blessing, you can change that because everything is perspective.

Unfortunately for many, it takes a horrible experience or seeing something crazy to change their perspective and it shouldn't. You should always open your eyes and hearts to the blessings you have, and live as such so the universe doesn't give you a clip round the ear- or a fly kick and spinning head butt (I've received a few of those from the universe and they're no fun) to wake you up.

It's always a pleasure to write for you, and I'll continue to write whether I have the strength or not. I wish you all the best things for this coming year.

Enjoy yourself whatever you're doing to celebrate- I'm going out with Ama and a couple friends so it should be nice. That's why this post is earlier than usual- my phone got stolen from me so I can't post when I'm out which sucks because I had something special for when it's actually 2016. But I'll just share it tomorrow instead :-)

Take care, stay safe, stay beautiful, stay fabulous and share the love.
I'm here for all of you as always and you're all always in my thoughts and prayers :-)
Thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say and sometimes respond to me or drop me messages it means a lot.

Love always!

Brightest blessings, love and hugs to you and your loved ones!

Have an extra shot and/or glass of champagne for me ;-)

Hoops w/ hoops

I'm actually so done.

I can fully imagine him being like "What you mean I can't turn myself in and get the money?!" The shock of it is even still on his face.

At least he would be entertaining in the courtroom! ^^

I hope you're all doing great! :-)

Merry Christmas!

I hope you are all having a fantastic day my loves! :-*

Those are the real gifts that will bring joy to you and others today and always.

Share the love. I hope the wishes I made for you and more come to pass.

Take care of you, and those around you at this special time. Make it so you feel good about your memories of his day... Life is fragile and fleeting, tomorrow isn't promised. Don't make the mistake of realising, or caring when it's too late.

Again, merry Christmas!

All my love,

If I was a dog....

Hahahaha, look at their little swollen tummy! He looks so guilty, and he can't even roll away from the scene of the crime xD

This warmed my heart, and gave me a good giggle and to be honest we've all been there.

I hope for this to be me when I get home,  and all of us this Christmas. You can get away with a bit of gluttony at Christmas time! ;-)

Best wishes!

This totally made my day

This caught me way off guard, I thought I'd become an urban legend because I'm the crazy, weird, sarcastic lady with the evil sounding laugh; and funny pictures on her phone (I share some here occasionally). It's nice that people appreciate my kindness too, kindness never goes unnoticed and this is proof of that.

I'm going to continue being kind, because it's the natural thing to do- being mean doesn't feel good at all. I'd encourage you all to join me and spread kindness everywhere you go, and to everyone you meet. The arseholes need it the most. There may be a struggle they're fighting behind closed doors that makes them want to take their pain out on everyone they meet; and only see the world through jaded eyes. It's not right that people behave like this, and being hurt isn't an excuse to be an arsehole at all; but showing kindness to a cruel person might be what makes them see beauty in the world; and begin to reflect it themselves.

Don't be an arsehole, because true happiness is found in kindness and you shouldn't deny yourself that. Negativity can be addictive and sometimes people might get the urge to do bad things. I do sometimes, I could very easily be an arsehole, screw people over, embarrass people, make people feel like shit, but what would that achieve? Even if someone has really hurt you, hurting them back will never take away the pain you've suffered, or tears you cry so why bother? Pray that they heal, and send them healing so they stop hurting themselves and others. Once things have already happened, all you can do is damage control and it won't benefit anyone if you cause more damage.

In life it's important to look after yourself and heal, but you can't do that in a negative bubble, and you can't do that being selfish. In helping others you help yourself- it's not at all the reason why you should help people, but it's a fortunate byproduct of it. If you're negative, you'll attract negativity and negative people, so why not try positivity and see where that takes you? If you find no one, at least you'll be able to discern genuine people from fake people. It is far better to be alone than in toxic company.

Remember this, and always be kinder than you feel :-)

All the best!

Love,

-Dalanda

Sunday 20 December 2015

It's Christmas soon!

I'm not at all a Scrooge because I love Christmas, but I'm not really feeling the Christmas spirit yet.

There's still time, and I hope I feel it soon. Perhaps I will become more festive when I'm at home with my family and the tree (I'm still yet to discover if I'm the star or not >_>) xD.

Anyway, seeing as tomorrow is the start of a new week that Christmas will fall on, I lit a pink (it was the most fun colour I had) candle for you all (don't laugh at the size of my candle xD it's the intention (and fire safety) that is most important ;-D)

And those are some of my crystals :-)

I'm sending every blessing to you and your loved ones this festive season! I'm sending you Christmas miracles, and wishes for a scrumptious dinner and a great day with kind, wholesome company.

I'm remembering the people close to us that didn't make it till Christmas or can't be around.

I pray you have the strength to do that last bit of Christmas shopping, and find the perfect gifts to warm your loved ones' hearts. It's not just about the gifts- I am sure you all understand that and will share your time, smiles, laughter and stories with the ones you love at this time.

I also remember the ones that don't have anyone, are alone, homeless or in a war zone. I pray there is peace and fair distribution of our resources because we have enough food and space on this planet. No one should have to starve or sleep on the streets.

Those are my wishes for you, and all the other good things that I don't have time to list. :-)

I'm sure you'll be enjoying all the blessings and more at this time! I'll send some more prayers and intentions your way for on Christmas Day.

Good luck with everything leading up to this time, and wish me luck because I still have to buy some gifts (aaaarghhhhhhhhhnebdgheebevgjshevdjsb).

Till next time (Probably tomorrow), take care of yourselves (and others)!

Lots of love,

-Dalanda

If this was my dog and I was sleeping next to them, I would be up the whole night giggling.

Saturday 19 December 2015

Some things in life will leave you speechless, and  at times like this you can only really speak of the feelings that stem from what left you speechless.

The words can be so difficult to find, and even when you find some, you can never really do your feelings, or your experiences justice... Especially  with just words.

Everyone feels, and sees the world differently so even if you put what you feel into words, music, art, poetry it's likely you won't be understood by many, but for the ones that do it's magic.

I guess that's why it's so easy to fall silent, or become numb. Sometimes you've said all you could possibly say at that moment with your silence. You've let your energies, your demeanour or maybe just your eyes speak for themselves.

Perhaps in time when it's less raw you can describe what moved you so deeply but even then, it's a tamer version of what once was. We don't always do our feelings justice, or allow ourselves to express them freely.

I feel this is because anything that moves you or touches you at a deep level is by nature discordant, frantic, sporadic and an interruption to your daily routine but that's the beauty of it.

It shows us that life isn't meant to be structured, that there aren't limits, that we can do more than what is expected of us as people and tiny details like that can change everything- for better or for worse depending on how you deal with it.

Every day shouldn't be the same. But for many of us it is. We are set up in a structure we are taught to follow until we die... timetables, schools, 9-5's. We forget that as humans we are limitless, free and greater than anything negative that tries to control us. I don't think structure is negative, as we need it to some degree but when it keeps things always rigid and the same and stops people from venturing out of the box that's a problem.

The structure can prove a comfort for many and I find that really sad. So many don't find out how great life could, be because they're too scared to live out their dreams and follow their heart's desires, or they're living a dream that doesn't truly belong to their hearts.

I guess it's a toss off between true happiness and conformity, I'm not sure there's much of a middle ground because you can't really play both fields, and for anything in life if you want to do it properly it's all or nothing.

If you want my advice, from what I've seen and experienced I have found 100% of the time that turning your back on your intuition and what you're pulled towards in life will never make you happy. It will make you at the most comfortable, and many do go for that comfort and settle for a life of bland, monotonous mediocrity because it's scary to follow your dreams. And those people can be workers, CEO's, lawyers, etc. To me and to your heart and soul it's a failure when you don't follow your gut. Your gut is where you're truly meant to be, and a victory in the eyes of this money, system based world is a failure for the soul and a failure for your inner growth. You shouldn't care about looking like a winner in the eyes of everyone else if you're a failure to yourself, because others don't have to live with the consequences but they might try and reap some of the benefits from you.

We're taught to cage ourselves, and like fools we walk into our (open cages) and just sit there maybe occasionally looking out in envy at the people that are free- as though we can't walk out and do the same. It's a place where many remain till their dying day and it's sad because as much as I know it doesn't seem like it, it's easier to follow your heart than turn your back on yourself.

I don't know about you, but for me life isn't really worth living if you're not happy. It's not really much if you're not doing what you're pulled towards. Remember we all have different goals, different callings and happiness means different things to different people but true happiness is that which satisfies your soul before your ego.

One's huge goal might be wanting to teach children and inspire people even though they're a high flying banker... Or to have children even if it means putting a career or promotion on hold. It doesn't have to be outrageous to the eyes of the masses, if to you and your soul it means the world.

That to me is the true meaning of the world - the amazing things that touch you on a spiritual level, not what you can buy. Our souls will not and can not be sated by anything man made. We are only truly responsive to the real things that enthuse us... Those things are divine, deeper than what we see and can't be purchased or faked.

There are so many zombies and soulless faces that once were human beings with hopes and dreams. But when we grow up, they try to make us lose our sense of wonder and suddenly you're in the trap of following frivolous things that pave the way to disappointment, regrets and broken dreams instead of happiness.

But they try to show and tell us that it is the way to happiness. They tell us you're nothing without the things that tickle your ego- status, wealth, a fancy life. It's all bullshit though, a powerful bullshit notion perpetuated all around us causing people sleep on their true selves in pursuit of it.

It puzzles me that so many don't realise consumerism is rife so the select few by virtue of birth or evil get richer, whilst they leave us to fight over the scraps of wealth left behind and scramble for things like mice in a rubbish bin. It's outrageous some of the things people do for money.

Take a moment to compare the satisfaction of a few weeks or days post buying something, next to the feeling of doing something your gut led you towards. You'll get bored of new purchases, but not of opportunities, experiences or having the right things and people in your life because those things are gifts that keep on giving. A new car, dress, watch or shoes won't be there for you when you're crying because you're lonely.

The world has far more to offer you than an inflated ego.

I saw a piece written anonymously by a business man who wanted to be rich, so he built himself up and realised his dream of having a lot of money. However he was completely miserable because he realised that he had and could have everything he could possibly buy but in the process he left everyone behind. In having everything he realised he had nothing at all.

He didn't pay attention to the true things in life and so his wife left with the children (whom he neglected because of work), and he didn't even have friends to support him through the trauma for the same reason. The only people around him were opportunists. He ended the piece on a very grave tone saying he's just going to keep at his job in his company because it's the only security he has now.

What I find most sad about the 'dream' he has decided to chase is that it's really just a never ending nightmare. Money, is never ending, numbers are infinite but there's a finite number of things you can purchase, or wish to purchase. This poor man will always strive for more, and he will always fall short because he's put his faith and trust in something other than himself.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather be happy and have something real to live for.

The things I mentioned earlier that touch us, that we can't really describe or are both afraid and excited of are what we should live for. I mean, you don't have to, and you could settle for but why on earth should you? You'll never be here again as you, in this moment at this time so you should celebrate that. It shouldn't take tragedies or harsh things to make us realise if we're not following our gut. Remember your intuition and ego are different so if you're following your 'gut' to do something to satisfy your ego, you are really fooling yourself.

Trust me, things sort themselves out when you do. Don't be fooled into thinking being a slave to money and consumerism is the only feasible option for your life.

You know your limits, but at the same time you must also remember the only limits that exist are those which you have implemented. If you are following your heart, you will probably either things you once aspired to and more as a by product of you being true to yourself; or realise what you thought you truly wanted was BS.

When we are passionate and driven by our hearts, our gut and doing the right thing we will always perform at our best;  however when you follow just your ego, there's always a glass celling (of your own making) that you can never quite break.

So free yourself... To with quote Bob Marley's Redemption Song: 'emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds...'

Take care, have a fantastic weekend and try not to fall victim to consumerism-particularly at this Christmas period. The most valuable gift you can give someone is your time.

-Dalanda

“After all, what is happiness? Love, they tell me. But love doesn't bring and never has brought happiness. On the contrary, it's a constant state of anxiety, a battlefield; it's sleepless nights, asking ourselves all the time if we're doing the right thing. Real love is composed of ecstasy and agony.”

And my personal favourite

That Stein must have been very tasty! I'm aware that 'tasty' isn't usually used to describe beer, but if it had that effect on him it must be something more than just cold and refreshing.

I'll have to order one next time!

Have a beautiful weekend everybody :-)

Saturday 12 December 2015

The sun.

A single ball of light, a light so powerful, it illuminates the entire world.

As there is a sun and daytime, there is also a moon, stars and night time so that there is balance and cycle as that's how the world operates.

One of the reasons we need night because it helps us to appreciate the day, and light more, vice versa.

What I find marvellous is that during even the darkest of nights, there is light from above without fail... Be it the moon, or the stars- you just might have to look a bit closer.

The moon and stars are a becon of light that guide the way of those lost in the dark. It is also a symbol of hope, because it brings with it the promise that the sun will always rise again.

When you have faith, see the night through and learn not to fear the darkness anymore; a new day will shine a light on everything, and you will see the scary shadows and darkness were actually beautiful flowers, trees and other harmless things. It's true what they say, 'you have nothing to fear, but fear itself.'

But, if you fear the dark and succumb to it, it grows because of the energy you have pumped into it, and you might get lost or begin to fear the light and lock yourself in darkness...

If you open your eyes and look up at the night sky you'll see the moon, the stars, and sometimes even other planets.

It's the same as in life. There may be negativity all around you, and it can seem suffocating, but it only seems so. There's no such thing as absolute darkness or absolute evil.

The negativity around you may seem powerful and intoxicating, it may feel like everything around you is crumbling but it's not if you have faith.

Remember that it's always darkest before the dawn, and that darkness can not enter you without your consent. It is you that entertains it, and feeds it with fear and poor decisions not made in love. Don't make allowances and exceptions for that which is not from the light, and remeber you aren't and cannot be bound by darkness- you can cut off at any time. It takes strength, intent and getting help if you need it. You'll be guided to where you need to be, just switch your intuition back on.

Start looking up and admiring the beauty that dwells within the light. There is no comfort in darkness, isolation and fear. The darkness will sell you dreams, possibly come in the form of everything you thought you ever wanted (on a superficial level), and then take away everything that's real, and that money can't buy as payment if you're not careful.

I used to fear the dark, but now I don't because I am strong. I can appreciate the beauty in even the darkest times because I know I have nothing to fear and it will work out. I know I am far stronger than anything negative that will try and harm me, and when it gets hard as it often is, I hold in. That's how I can use my pain to help people, I'm an injured optimist.  Partly because of this, night time has grown to symbolise a lot to me.

Think of the moon like your faith, and the stars as those little signs and nuggets of information that point you in the best direction for your life.

The dark times may appear to be all engulfing and vast, but if you would just simply look up, you would realise there's hope, help and your fears are not real at all- no matter how real they seem. People usually only realise this after the situation has passed or resolved, get a head start and know that as long as you're doing the right thing, you're good. Don't worry. The darkness that sought to steal from you and destroy things will make you stronger, better and wiser once you overcome it.

Just like the darkest, coldest nights will always bring with it the promise of a new day.

The darkness like night time is always there and it is you that decides how you deal with it.
Negativity and darkness like night time might spark your paranoia and try to play tricks on you.. Your shadow splits into two, or gets bigger, birds, trees, and houses look more sinister too, you feel watched, all under the illusions and darkness of the night.

As much as all these illusions seem real and scary, they aren't and we shouldn't allow illusion that creates negative, fear based energies to dictate our actions- lest we find ourselves even more lost in the dark.

We all know the difference between right and wrong, good and bad but it's important to make choices based on the fact that we understand that distinction.

We shouldn't do wrong, and look down in the hope that our wrongs get hidden in the same darkness we managed to lose ourselves in. The sun will rise again, bringing everything to light. I promise you, nothing can ever be hidden by darkness- only masked. Even so, masks will always fall away.

Light gives you a chance to get a good look at things, and will always guide you towards more light- just like darkness leads to more darkness.

Once you make the right choices and overcome your fears, you will have no buisness inviting negativity into your life again. If it does come through no fault of your own as it often does, in form of a challenge or lesson you will be able to recognise it and deal with it in the best way possible without any fear.

When you are living in light, those in dark will try their damnedest to drag you down because misery loves company.

Please remember that light is always more powerful than darkness, it's the natural order of things- hence I always tell you to follow it. It does not make any sense to follow or fear that which is weaker than you. How will you ever become great?

The dark some believe is in all of us never is and never will be all engulfing, it's just lower energies made stronger by your ego and fears which are perpetuated by our society. The 'dark side' in everyone is actually just free will, which allows us to make consciously make choices. It's the possibility that you could choose to go against the light, and not act in the best way and it comes from fear, not evil. People panic because the right thing is sometimes hard to do. "He who becomes a beast takes away the pain of being a man." Fucking cowards.

You are not and never will be darkness. There is always a chance for someone who is really willing to try because no one is too lost. Especially not in a fight against something we are naturally so much stronger than.

More often than not, you're not even properly in the darkness.... You were just tricked or scared into closing your eyes.

As a result of this, there are many souls who have blessings floating around right in front of their faces, but they can't grab onto it, or even know it's there because they've got their eyes so tightly shut. They become so consumed in their own self-created world of darkness, that they think it too much of a leap to just open their eyes and finally take the gifts that are meant for them.

However the sun, moon and stars won't stop shining because no one is looking at them. Similarly the light you have is incredibly powerful, and it will never die or go out- even if you neglect it. It stays burning waiting for you to rediscover that flame and make it grow.

Many look to the ground, and to the empty, hopeless darkness instead of up to the light and to hope. To freedom! Away from the darkness and the negative things which were once strongholds in  your life. Here you will see all the things you've dropped and left behind that you may thought were lost the for good in the darkness. Or there will be something better, in life there are always extra blessings for you to enjoy! :-) Celebrate your triumph against the things that you once let hold you captive.

A single sun lights up the entire world. Despite the fact that space is vast and dark, and seemingly impenetrable, the sun still shines through for us all.

That's why it's important to always keep looking to the light and not allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the darkness.

Be mindful of your actions.

The worst thing you can do for yourself is make decisions for your life based on the reactions from negative emotions, and things not from the light because I promise you, it never leads you to a good place. It will take you further away from where you need to be, all whilst making you think you're doing the right thing for yourself. Again, illusion.

If you're doing the right thing for yourself, it will feel right. If it feels wrong, and you think you're doing the right thing you might want to go back to the drawing board and try again. The main motivation behind your plans should always be love, honesty and doing the right thing- if you do that you're taken care of in all ways even if it doesn't immediately work out.

However if your main focus is shallow, then shallowness and negativity are all you'll attract into your life. It's up to you which one you pick... I would recommend looking up and choosing happiness and peace. Life isn't ever easy, but you make it a lot harder for yourself when you turn your back on the things that are best for you.

When the sun rises as it always will, everything comes to light- including all the things you may have tried to hide in the cover of darkness. It's important you do the right thing so when light is shed you have nothing to hide and you are not shamed.

If you think you are lost in the dark, look up... The moon is bright, the stars are bright, and if drop your fears and follow the light you'll be home in time for sunrise.

If you ever happen to find yourself in the dark again- which is inevitable as night will always fall; just look up to the skies and remember your strength is greater than any obstacle.

If you look up for long enough, you might even forget about all the darkness around you, and remeber that you're safe and a new day is coming. Until then, bask in the little blessings and bits of light that have been left behind just for you.

All it takes is a little spark.

Take care of yourself and follow the light!

Love,

-Dalanda

P.S- I started writing a short story / analogy to demonstrate this. It was fun to write but my fingers started to cramp (I was on my iPad because I didn't plan to start writing, it just happened). So I stopped and I might finish it but I'm not sure if I'll publish it or not. I shouldn't be writing short stories xD, I have so much to do and I'm very much struggling to get my head in the game but whatever. At least I can organise some of my thoughts. I hope you enjoyed this more concise version of events though, and if you do want short stories please let me know! :-)

Be very careful with what you do and what you say

Words and actions can never be taken back.

So on that principle, I'm sending you everlasting blessings. May good fortune, joy, love and peace always be present in the lives of you and your loved ones. I pray you will always remember that you have the strength to get through life; and I pray this crazy journey called life brings you a plethora of experiences that enrich you mind, body and soul.
I wish you smiles and laughter that come from the heart, and happiness greater than that of which you have ever dreamed of.
It's possible, it's achievable, and it's yours. Go and grab it my dear :-)

Love always,

-Dalanda

:-)

Never be afraid to walk away from people and situations that don't treat you right

You are no one's property.

The bonds of love, friendship, or any kind of relationship in your life don't mean anything if you're being treated poorly. When you're treated poorly, love and respect turn into bastardisations of themselves, and give you all the opposites of what you would expect from love.

No matter how deep your feelings are: if you are not shown any love; you are dealing with someone who won't make an effort for you; or you suffer someone that runs in and out of your life or uses you as they please then you need to take a step back- for the sake of your sanity and self-respect. If someone doesn't give you the respect that you deserve, give it to yourself by cutting their disrespectful self off.

It's hard but necessary because if you don't take that step back, you will only end up very hurt, very embarrassed and pretty messed up from the whole experience. Being treated badly-  particularly by people you care about, or people you thought cared about you damages your self-worth and self-esteem at the least- often it's deeper. Even if you're very strong and confident to begin with, it still hurts a lot, you just understand a bit better.

Just remember that it is you who dictates your worth and not anyone else.  That's why it's so important to stand up for yourself, and not take any bullshit. There are plenty of people who will appreciate you, and treat you right if the people already in your life aren't.

Self-respect and self-love are vital- especially if you've been treated like someone not worthy of them. It's simply not true- respect, love, time and affection are things we all need and deserve. It's just that someone is just too silly to appreciate you which is their loss. You can't please everyone, and you won't be everyone's cup of tea- such is life!

Just remember again to love yourself (not in an egotistical way, but a healthy way where you have respect for yourself, and you treat yourself well), and love others- if you're lucky, they'll love you back and treat you as such which is great. But if they don't, know that there are many who will already do. Someone (like me) and something always loves and cares about you. I can't give you anything physical because it's on a virtual sphere, but if I could I would. All I can offer you is advice, inspiration, laughs, virtual hugs,  and the hope and tools to create a better life for you and those around you. I really do care about sharing these things with you all, because I have love for everyone, especially you that takes the time out to read what little old me has to say.

I know maybe you want time and love from one or a few people in particular, and not me specifically but my love is there anyway, and you can trust me and the advice I give to you- I'd never be dishonest or not try my best to be as helpful as possible. Heck, my long posts are so long because I like to explain everything in detail so you follow me (I hate being misunderstood).

Also, like I said yesterday: trust your intuition! Those chills, tingles, feelings or deep inner knowings are powerful and if you listen and follow, you can be assured that you are on the best path. So don't delay... Even if it goes against what you think you might want. Nobody knows what's best for them anyway, that's why seeking and following the guidance within you and around you that resonates is important. There's always a reason in life, things don't just happen. That's why leaving toxic influences behind are important- they'll take you off your path and away from where you need to be.

Sure you'll still care, but if someone proves less than worthy of a spot in your life for whatever reason, then don't give them the privilege of one. They don't deserve it, or you if they're gonna treat you like crap.
Maybe if you're lucky there'll be a change and growth later on down the line with those people or that person, but you have to deal with the here and now in life.

Someone is what their actions show them to be, and until they decide to make a change it's all they are. I'm not saying you shouldn't give people a chance, but be careful and learn how to recognise genuine attempts at change, and manipulation to keep you around.

Be courageous, and remember you are strong enough to face anything. You have no reason to run and hide from anything in your life, you're great. Face it, maybe suffer a bit now but be assured that if you do the right thing it's gonna be okay.

Love,

P.S- here's a saying that is used a lot, I love it, but I couldn't fit in so here : 'practice what you preach'.

It's all about integrity and respect for yourself and others. When you go against yourself, you're demeaning yourself... Your words lose their power, and people lose their respect for you because you don't show any respect for yourself.

One of the most damning things you could do for yourself and your image is to willingly go against what you know is the right thing to do. There's honestly never a good enough reason to not do the right thing; and in turning your back on your morals, you're also turning your back on your true self. That's fucked up, and it can turn you into a selfish and heartless monster if you're not careful.

I respect those who stand up for what they believe in and do the right thing. From the single mother working three jobs, instead of making fast immoral and/or illegal money, to the child that refuses to change despite being bullied because they want to remain true to themselves regardless of what anyone else thinks or says.
