Throwback Thursday

This is the exact face I started the year with. The face from when I was in a cold train station waiting in the middle of nowhere after spending midnight on a train. But that's another story which I won't go into right now, or ever because it's not important...

It seems like this is my theme for the year, disappointment due to arseholes. Meh, it's been the theme most years but this year in particular. However I am not sharing this for you to pity me, or jump to conclusions about me. I'm posting this as a reminder of either of these two things (possibly both) - don't be a fucking arsehole, period. You affect people negatively and if you're not happy that doesn't mean you should rob others from their chance to be happy too. If you're the one on the receiving end remember you'll survive the arseholes- hurt, wounded, maybe a little scarred but alive. Wounds do get better... But only if you let them.

Eventually when you decide to ground yourself in life you'll get it. It'll make more sense, all of it and also some things that I've said or bits of advice I've offered will come in handy and/or begin to click. You can figure out yourself and what you want or your soul needs from life instead of this uncertainty many feel... Just start to make proper goals, real ones that will fulfil your soul and not hinder it or keep it stagnant. Often people get confused and make similar goals to what they usually do & remain unhappy.

The best goals are those for yourself, your heart and the betterment of yourself and others. If your goals are purely rooted in this world and acquiring things I'm afraid you've misunderstood what the real meaning and purpose of life is meant to be and you'll remain confused and uncertain til you realise that. It's a broad but true statement because life is about growth and lessons as a human and a soul... If you don't expand mentally and spiritually and stay in the same line and way of thinking you were born with you won't learn much. Also, it's not likely you'll be happy but if you are lucky maybe you will be comfortable at best because ignorance is bliss.

Vital things like empathy aren't natural for some people and so must be taught or learned and if you don't leave the same people that never had empathy for you to even learn from, you'll never grow.

My point is you always need to push yourself to grow as a person not as a social hierarchical or numerical figure because money isn't the real meaning of life or we would all be born with money in our hands. We need each other and our own strength to survive. Everything else is a bonus and is not really real because the only true thing on this planet is our bond with one another.

Once again: don't be an arsehole.

Love you lots,

-Dalanda x
