This song by the Beach Boys that came out in the late 60's is so cool! :-)
The idea behind it is Brian Wilson's (who wrote this song and is the one singing and playing the keyboard) mother used to tell him about how some people give off "Good Vibrations," which is why dogs bark at some people and not others. Wilson was trying to write a song that gave off these "Good Vibrations."
It's a really nice and unusual sound and idea. Melodically, it's very different and alternative, which I really like; because some bands and muscicans try to go alternative/unsual with a different sound and unfortunatley, they don't always pull it off. But, the Beach Boys definitely do! It's also quite advanced in it's techniques and sounds considering it was made in '66!
